The colour of the star in this Nakshatra is red. Jyeshtha Nakshatra is considered as the highest Nakshatra. Jyeshtha Nakshatra implies getting bigger or older. Since this Nakshatra is big and very important it is called Jyeshtha. Some experts believe it to be the earring of Aadi Shakti.

Remedy

To prevent themselves from the bad effects of this Nakshatra, he nativev should worship Lord Vishnu. Reciting ‘Vishnu Sahastranaam’ also helps in avoiding the difficulties. Along with this worshipping Goddess Durga and Goddess Kali is also considered to give good results. If Moon is in transit in this Nakshatra then reciting the seed Mantra ‘Om Dham’ is said to give good results and it is considered useful to calm down the Nakshatra.
