Significance of other Marks on a Palm

The Triangle

A triangle can be seen as a distinct and a clear sign on the palm and is not formed by the intersection of two lines. It is considered a favourable sign but it is more significant when it stands as an independent mark. It represents a flourishing mind and success corresponding to the location of the mark. For instance if it is found on the mount of Jupiter, it represents success in management of people and in handling everyday affairs in an organisation. If a triangle is present along the side of a line, its characteristics will depend upon that line. A person with a triangle in a hand may never achieve great heights of success but he will be a responsible person with a great mental equanimity.

Transverse Marks

The transverse lines on a hand is considered an evil sign since it nullifies the positive qualities of any mount upon which it is found. A person may have the signs of a good mount but these will be nullified by the presence of transverse lines on the mount. The transverse lines on the mount of Mercury indicate that the subject will use his or her talent of diplomacy for wrong purposes.

Vertical Marks

Vertical marks on a palm are considered favourable sign. These signs exhibit the qualities opposite to that of transverse marks. If found on mounts, they heighten the positive qualities of the mount and nullify any poor signs present on the mount. Vertical lines present on any mount show that the subject is eloquent and friendly. The presence of two vertical lines on the mount of Mercury depicts that the subject may become a biologist or doctor.

The Trident

A trident is considered most favourable mark on a palm irrespective of its position. It always increases the qualities of a mount or a line on which it is present. If found on a mount, the trident enhances the qualities of a neighbouring mount along with the main mount. It even eclipses a star in its beneficence.

The Tassel

A tasseled line is usually found at the end of main lines. Its presence at the end of the lifeline depicts the weakening of an individual and deteriorating with age. Similarly, with the line of head it denotes weakening of mental clarity and approaching senility due to old age. A tassel on the line of heart represents a deteriorating heart condition or an emotional trauma which has left individual very weak.

Drooping Offshoots

Lines drooping from the main lines indicate disappointment in life. For instance, along the line of head it symbolizes disappointment or obstruction in promoting one’s idea.

Rising Offshoots

Rising offshoots exhibit characteristics opposite to that of drooping offshoots. These represent periods of sudden inspiration, fruition and happiness. For instance, a rising offshoot springing from line of head and touching the mount of Mercury is a sign of a scientific invention or substantiation of a concept which existed in the mind of an individual from a long time.

Sister Lines

Sister lines exhibit characteristics similar to the line along which they are present. Sister lines protect and heal lines that are broken and irregular. These lines will guide the main lines in adversities with numerous negative markings.
