There is a plethora of books on the major planet Saturn elucidating its most of the important astronomical and astrological features. “Shani Shaman” penned by outstanding scholars Ms. Mridula Trivedi and T P Trivedi in two volumes is a distinguished publication on the subject. Nevertheless, there was a need to have a focused book on the Vedic view of Saturn (Shanidev) with authenticity.
