Friday is the day of demons, they feel pleasure on this day. The planet Venus (Shukra) is the lord of the day. According to Vedic astrology Venus is the teacher (Guru) of the demons. It favors South-East direction. Moon is placed in a fiery sign, which supports the East direction for travel. Both support the directions of East, South-East and North-East, you may go in the North direction also.

However, avoid starting a journey in the West and North-East. Worship only female goddess like Lakshmi, or Gauri today for best results.

As a remedial measure, it is beneficial to chant the mantras of Shukra. Maintain distance from hatred and any kinds of evils. Drink un-boiled and fresh milk.
