Navansh Kundali is considered to be very important in Vedic astrology. It is considered to be so important because it comes in line after the Lagna Kundali. The Lagna Kundali represents the body while the Navansh Kundali represents the soul. According to Parashar Sanhita, a person receives auspicious results if Navmansh is formed due to a proper synchronization between the Janma Kundali and the Navansh Kundali.
If the planets in a Navansh Kundali are exalted or placed well, a person is healthy with respect to both his body and soul. In such a situation, the person receives auspicious results. If a planet is debilitated in Janma Kundali but exalted in Navansh Kundali, it still gives good results. This is an evidence to the importance of the Navansh Kundali.A Navansh Kundali is divided into nine equal parts.
From 0 degree to 3 degrees 20 minutes, from 10 degrees to 13 degrees 20 minutes, from 20 degrees to 23 degrees 20 minutes. In other words, 1, 4 and 7 Navansh are known as Dev Navansh. According to some astrologers, Dev Navansh possesses many good qualities (Satvik). If Saptam Navansh forms a relation with Navansh, a person is able to find a suitable mate for himself.
